Overview
Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payables and receivables associated with various business lines within the StoneX Group including but not limited to exchange traded derivative give ups/ins execution services as well as market intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Receivables: Monitor daily receivables associated with invoices raised by SFL including but not limited to execution services as well as chargeable market intelligence provided to customers. Ensure correct allocation of received funds.
- Payables: Reconcile and then instruct payment for invoices received from counterparties related to clearing-only derivative transactions.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile both receivables accounts as well as accrual balances identifying and addressing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant internal teams such as Trade Processing and Reconciliations to resolve any issues related to both receivables and payables.
- Support: Assisting in responding to queries (internal and external) relating to both receivables and payables.
- Process Improvement: Support management in reviewing existing processes and controls and then assist in executing proposed recommendations.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience
- 1-3 years experience in an operations role.
- Prior experience in a brokerage and derivatives setting preferred.
- Base level understanding of derivatives including futures and options as well as their associated lifecycle events.
- Knowledge of ION XTP preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of FIA Tech e-Recs preferred but not required.
Skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders across the business.
- Effective organisation and time management skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and trends.
- Ability to think progressively and identify improvements in existing tasks and controls as well as then executing on those recommendations.
