HybridCollins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic and effective team member to join the Work Transfer segment of our Power & Controls Cost & Strategic Sourcing Team. As a Supply Chain Work Transfer Principal Specialist your responsibilities will include but are not limited to management and execution of the following key objectives:
- Own and timely execute To Buy Collins Managed Work Transfer Gates 3 and 4 for multiple part transition projects and Suppliers within our global supply base across up to 7 different commodities
- Support process continuous improvement activities that drive efficiencies into our process
- Partner and effectively communicate project status health and help needed with cross-functional and cross-level internal Stakeholders/Customers and external Suppliers

Additional Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure use and compliance to COL-PRO-0008 (Collins Work Transfer procedure)
- Establish project priorities that will execute key deliverables to a planned baseline and mitigate all internal and external customer production impacts as well as internal financial and savings based risks
- Lead root cause evaluation of project setbacks / process escapes and implementation of corrective action (including but not limited to leveraging alternate solutions internal Collins escalation external Supplier Leadership escalation additional process controls etc.) to ensure timely execution of projects and compliance to process
- Serve as the key point of contact for the assigned projects when interfacing with Supply Chain Management Commodity Quality Procurement Engineering Planning Delivery Assurance and Collins Regional Office teams as well as external Collins Suppliers
- Support teleconferences during off-hours (due to time zone differences) with suppliers in key growth regions
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Engineering or Operations disciplines or related area with increasing responsibility
- Project Management Experience
- Proven communication skills across disciplines
- Cost sensitivity and sound business judgment in support of meeting Organizational goals and Customer needs
- Able to excel in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to leverage critical thinking to effectively solve complex problems
- Well organized and pays very close attention to detail
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite Experience with advanced features of Microsoft Excel i.e. v-lookup macros pivot tables data mining
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficient in SAP (ERP system)
- Aerospace Manufacturing/Engineering technical aptitude
- Process and governance design (standard work)
- Leadership ability to support and/or conduct continuous improvement events
- Integrator across multiple teams business segments and sites
- Strong negotiation skill set
- PMP certification
