Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: Elizabeth CO 80107
Duration: 6 Weeks Contract
Shift & Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
- 5 days/week (5 x 7.5 hours)
- 37.5 billable hours per week
Role Overview
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a short-term school-based assignment. The role involves supporting students with behavioral and developmental challenges through structured intervention plans and collaborative care.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) under the supervision of a BCBA
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with special needs
- Support development of social academic and life skills
- Use positive reinforcement and behavior strategies to encourage desired behaviors
- Maintain a safe structured and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers BCBAs and school staff
- Attend required training sessions and team meetings
- Follow all school policies procedures and professional standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RBT Certification (mandatory)
- Minimum 1 year of school-based experience
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain during onboarding
- Ability to work with children with behavioral or developmental challenges
- Strong communication and documentation skills
