Job Summary
The Worldwide Speed Team is looking for an experienced Data Engineer. As a Data Engineer you will need to review technical develop and enhance systems and pipelines supporting process optimization in reporting planning and monitoring activities in Engineering Services as well as integrate in-house infrastructure with partner systems. You should be an expert in the architecture of warehousing solutions using multiple platforms and addition you should have strong analytical skills and excel in the creation management and business use of large sets combining raw information from different sources. Similarly you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable extract transform and load processes to support the rapidly growing and dynamic business demand for and use it to deliver the as a service which will have an immediate influence on day-to-day business decision making. Moreover you will create automated alarming and dashboards to monitor integrity. Finally yet importantly you should have very good communication skills and ability to adjust communication to different groups of stakeholders collaborating with architects BI engineers scientists business analysts/managers to evaluate business needs and objectives in order to set up the best management environment. Overall you will be the subject matter expert for the structures and usage while striving for efficiency by aligning systems with business goals.
Key job responsibilities
- Design implement and support an analytical infrastructure providing ad-hoc access to large datasets and computing power
- Interface with other technology teams to extract transform and load data from a wide variety of data sources using and technologies
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills be self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Enjoy working closely with your peers in a group of very smart and talented engineers.
- Help continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
- Explore and learn the latest technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency
- 1 years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with one or more query language (e.g. SQL PL/SQL DDL MDX HiveQL SparkSQL Scala)
- Experience with one or more scripting language (e.g. Python KornShell)
- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop Hive Spark EMR
- Experience with any ETL tool like Informatica ODI SSIS BODI Datastage etc.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
