Job Summary
Job Description:
We are hiring CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal position based in the Wilmer / Hutchins TX area. This is a home daily night shift position with consistent freight and steady weekly earnings.
Drivers will run local routes within a 250-mile radius primarily hauling intermodal containers.
Position Details:
- Location: Wilmer / Hutchins TX (ZIP 75134)
- Hiring Area: Must live within 50 miles
- Position Type: Local / Intermodal
- Equipment: Containers on chassis
- Freight: Mix of drop & hook preload and live load/unload
- Operating Area: Local routes within 250-mile radius
Pay & Compensation:
- Average Weekly Pay: $1000 $1100
- Pay Rate: $0.37 $0.43 CPM (based on experience)
- Per Load Pay: $20 per load
- Weekly Mileage: 1000 miles
Schedule & Home Time:
- Home Time: Daily
- Shift: Night shift
- Schedule Options:
- Sunday Thursday
- Tuesday Saturday
- Weekend Work: Required
- Holiday Work: As needed
Job Duties:
- Haul intermodal containers on local routes
- Complete multiple loads per shift
- Perform a mix of drop & hook preloads and live loads/unloads
- Operate in traffic and varying weather conditions
- Drive slip-seat day cab equipment
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Minimum 6 months of CDL-A tractor trailer experience required
- Valid CDL-A license
- No endorsements required
- Must live within 50 miles of Wilmer / Hutchins TX
- Must be able to handle a mix of driving and active freight work
