    The Role

    As SeniorAudio VisualSolutions Engineeryoulllead AV consultancy and designdelivering practical high-quality solutions for RMIT technology stakeholders.

    Youllsit within ITSAudio Visualteam (End User Technology Services) collaborating with industry partners and vendors to get the right outcomes fast.

    Youllturn stakeholder requirements into design documentationschematics and AV functional design deliverablesbuilt to RMIT AV standards.Youllalso help shape AV strategy andarchitecture andbuild strong working relationships across the University and with external stakeholders.

    The Portfolio includes Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP) Communications People Information and Technology Services (ITS) Office of the Chief Operating Officer Procurement and Vietnam Operations.

    With major touchpoints across the staff and student journey the Portfolio helps bring the RMIT strategy to lifeacross the globe. Our teams enable the Universitys day-to-day operations and support its controlled entities creating a seamless experience for our communities.

    About You

    Youreasenior Engineer with a wealth of experience inenterpriseAV technologies who loves untangling complex challenges leads with deep technicalexpertise and takes pride in deliveringgreatscalable solutions that people rely on every day.

    Skills & Experience

    In this role you will:

    • Create clear AV Technical Briefs that align to RMIT AV standards and strategy.

    • Collaboraterecommendand shape new AV initiativesscoping requirements and delivery plans.

    • Translate user needs into well-architected solutions balancing experience capabilitytimelinesand technology choices.

    Mandatory:Proven experience in an enterprise AV technical role delivering large-scale projects.

    Mandatory:Demonstratedexperience in AV design services ideally in a learning and teaching environment
