Job Summary

Hello. We are ShipHero (). We have built a software platform entrusted by hundreds of warehouses to run their operations over US$15 billion in orders ship through ShipHero a year. Were obsessed with building great technology and are now building out our Buenos Aires lab team.

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer for a hands-on role focused on making warehouse operations faster and more efficient and proving it with data. You will design and run experiments on warehouse workflows then validate the gains when new hardware is deployed in real environments.

What you will do:

Design and run controlled experiments on warehouse operations to identify inefficiencies and test process improvements.

Work remotely with senior executives to design iterate and validate experiments.

Work alongside hardware and engineering teams to validate new devices and systems as they are developed.

Define and track KPIs throughput cycle times error rates before and after changes.

Translate operational findings into clear actionable recommendations for product and engineering.

Requisites:

Degree in Industrial Engineering Operations or a related field.

Hands-on experience with process analysis and experiment design.

Comfortable working on warehouse floors this is a lab and field role not just a desk role.

Strong analytical skills; you know the difference between noise and signal.

Able to travel internationally a few times a year to visit warehouses.

It would also be beneficial if you:

Have experience with WMS platforms or warehouse automation hardware.

Are familiar with lean manufacturing or similar methodologies.

Have worked in logistics fulfillment or supply chain environments.

For this role we require you to be in the office in Buenos Aires (CABA).
