Job Summary
Program Supervisor (DSP Lead Staff)Group Home Location: North Hills CAPay: Annual salary $43490 per year (eligible for overtime)As a mission-driven organization we are intensely focused on expanding access to services and developing new and more effective ways of delivering supports and services to individuals we our team as a Program Supervisor (also known as DSP Lead Staff) in one of our group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. These homes are specialized facilities for individuals with history of behavioral services within a designated program including site operations case management and implementation of individual service plansSupervise/coordinate the daily activities of Direct Care Staff maintain schedules of Direct Care Staff and oversee the day-to-day operation of the programDeliver direct care services and support to assigned individuals we serve on an ongoing basisProvide input and feedback in hiring corrective action performance evaluations and termination decisionsEnsure onboarding orientation and ongoing training is deliveredPerform safety drills and assist with compliance management for state regulations and company policiesAssist Program Director (Administrator) with ongoing tasks as :High school diploma/GED requiredExperience: One year of experience working directly with adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting Experience working with individuals with aggressive behaviors and behavior management needsPrevious experience with supervision of staff (official role as a supervisor) - PreferredMust have DSP Year 1 and DSP Year 2 certifications completedARF Administrator certification is a plus but not requiredCurrent CA drivers license in good standingAccess to a reliable vehicle and provide proof of registration and insurance coverageStrong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlinesEffective communication skills to manage relationships and areliable responsible attitude and a compassionate approachFlexible availability is required - this position has a set schedule but may need to adjust schedule to assist with coverage as neededWhy Join UsFull-time position (40 hours/week) with some potential for overtimeFull compensation/benefits package includes health insurance and other insurances and perks 401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holiday payRewarding work impacting the lives of those you serve working alongside a great team of coworkersEnjoy job security with nationwide career development and advancement opportunitiesCome join our amazing team of committed and caring Today!
