Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality evidence-based care in a dynamic procedural environment. The RN will play a critical role in supporting minimally invasive procedures and ensuring safe patient-centered care throughout all phases of treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with clinical standards and policies
- Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications using advanced safety and documentation systems
- Perform point-of-care electronic documentation for assessments interventions and outcomes
- Provide patient and family education focused on treatment and recovery
- Assist with safe patient discharge planning and care transitions
- Support procedures across Interventional Radiology CT and Ultrasound
Clinical Skills Required:
- Experience assisting with Interventional Radiology procedures
- Ability to titrate IV drips
- Experience managing patients on ventilators
- Proficiency in conscious sedation
- Strong acute care nursing background
Key Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) (required)
- Minimum 23 years of Interventional Radiology or relevant acute care experience
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- ACLS (AHA) certification (required)
- PALS (AHA) certification (required)
- Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Strong adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced procedural setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
