Job Summary

Position Overview

Mission Gateway is an affordable housing community comprised of 356 units in Los Angeles CA. The Community Operations Administrator is responsible under the supervision of the Regional Manager for all operations at the community including but not limited to general administration maintenance directing on-site personnel and managing resources to ensure a stabilized fiscal operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day operations for assigned community.
  • Focus on maintaining 100% occupancy at the assigned community.
  • Maintain accurate records for Rental Agreements compliance files and resident documentation;
  • Assist with LIHTC/HUD or other affordable housing compliance requirements(if applicable);
  • Coordinate communication between-onsite team members and if needed home office and/or departments
  • Track work orders vendor services and contact documentation;
  • Work with assigned community manager to produce operational reports occupancy data and performance metrics;
  • Assist with audits inspection and regulatory reporting;
  • Monitor the assigned communitys spending and collections of income;
  • Support onboarding and needs for the on-site team members;
  • Ensure adherence to company policies procedures and housing regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in property management
  • Experience with supervising staff members
  • Experience with Section 8
  • Experience with managing periodic inspections (such as HUD TCAC and City inspections).
  • Experience with Tax Credit properties
  • Experience with Recertifications
  • Experience with Leasing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and general computer skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable transportation
  • Valid California drivers license
  • Proof of auto insurance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
  • Yardi program experience
  • General knowledge of fair housing 504 ADA HUD and Section 42 regulations
  • Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 only
  • Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)- Section 42 only
  • Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) Certification
  • Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification

Compensation:

  • $28/HR
  • 2 Bedroom Unit Included
