How Youll Contribute

Join our team in a supportive environment that fosters growth and learning. Work with cutting-edge technology. As a registered nurse you will be responsible for delivery of patient care in the ICU Department through the nursing process of interview assessment planning implementation evaluation and triage.

Provides direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Essential Functions

  • Performs plan of care interventions including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments and other medical care activities.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Monitors records and communicates patient condition to the care team physician patient and family.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfers discharges referrals and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Patient Populations Served: Neonate Infant Early Childhood Late Childhood Adolescent Young Adult Middle Adult Older Adult.

What were looking for:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required Bachelors or Masters Degree preferred.
  • Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
  • BCLS required.
  • ACLS PALS HAZMAT and Handle with Care certifications are preferred.
  • One year of experience preferred
