We are looking for a System Engineering intern. Would you like to accept a challenge and join a team of engineers in a well-established international company Would you be willing to take over the responsibility for testing the functionality of electron microscopes
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Testing development prototypes of cryogenic electron microscopes and their components including hands-on work with advanced prototype systems and supporting the validation of electron microscope modules.
- Automation of experiments using scripting (e.g. Python) and applying structured algorithmic thinking to problem-solving.
- Preparation of experimental setups evaluation and presentation of measured data including data processing.
- Collaboration on development projects within an international high-tech environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Student of Physics Physical Engineering Electrical Engineering or other engineering/technical fields.
- General technical overview
- Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving attention to detail and responsibility
- Active knowledge of English (min. B2)
- General knowledge of scripting/programming (Python)
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week for one year
