DescriptionAs a Lead HSE Engineer at Honeywell you will play a critical role in strengthening and sustaining global Health Safety Environment Product Stewardship and Sustainability (HSEPS) governance.
This role is accountable for the deployment effectiveness and continuous improvement of corporate HSE governance processes that drive consistent high quality implementation of the Honeywell HSE Management System (HSEMS) across all regions.
You will report to the Corporate HSE Process Director and work closely with the global corporate HSE team regional HSE governance leaders and business aligned HSE organizations this highly visible role you will influence enterprise wide HSE performance by enabling robust governance effective internal audits and standardized global processes.
This position may be based in Prague or Brno Czech Republic and supports global operations.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance global HSE governance ensuring consistent deployment execution and continuous improvement of the Honeywell HSE Management System across all regions.
- Plan execute and maintain adherence to the corporate internal HSE audit program including audits of offices manufacturing/operational facilities and field operations.
- Coordinate and oversee regional audit activities ensuring timely delivery of the approved global audit plan and consistent highquality audit records findings and corrective actions.
- Drive global standardization and continuous improvement of HSE governance processes promoting alignment process adoption and performance visibility with emphasis on Europe while supporting global needs.
- Utilize and optimize digital HSE tools and provide direct HSE support to assigned locations (e.g. Prague and Brno) to monitor HSEMS implementation track performance and ensure compliance with company and legal requirements.
QualificationsYou Must Have
- Bachelors degree in related technical or business field
- Fluent English Speaker
- 6-8 years of experience in HSE enviroment
- Working knowledge of HSE Management Systems or equivalent governance frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across cultures and organizational levels
- Proven organizational analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work within EHS digital software solutions
