Job Summary
Role Overview
Reporting to the Manager Data Science theAITechnicalSpecialistwill make hands on contributions to automate intake capture and analysis of ongoing and planned AI initiatives at Teck.
As part of Tecks AI Office you will support to provide clear oversightand practical guidelines for AI within the company.
You will build and run theintakeagentsdashboards andAI toolusage telemetrytocreate visibilityintothe performance ofTecks AI turnAIprocess andgovernance decisions intoworking systems.
This is an initial 12-month contract to start with a strong possibility of extension based on program needs.

Key Resposibilities
Be a courageous safety leader adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and configure and maintain the Intake agent (process logic permissions validation workflows/notifications).
Build and own datasets/dashboards for initiative portfolio adoption usage and value indicators;establishrefresh schedules and data quality checks.
Implement lightweight metadata standards (owners lifecycle stage evidence links compliance flags) to support audit readiness.
Ensure tooling respects data governance and security standards (access controls retention sensitivity labels leastprivilege).
Integrate with existing security/privacy processes (e.g. evidence links approval records) and surface compliance coverage in dashboards.
SupportAI toolrollout: coordinate with IT/Infrastructure on tenant readiness licensing views and telemetry; build adoption/usage reports and value snapshots.
Create quickstart guides and howto artifacts for intake dashboards andAI toolusage analytics.
Analyze usage patterns (e.g. feature adoption by function query volumes optin/optout trends) to inform training guardrails and prioritization.
Produce reporting artifacts (dashboards onepagers) and work with theAIProgram Coordinator to land insights with leadership.
Provide Tier2 support for intake/reporting tools; manage change requests and backlog; track SLAs for data refresh and defect resolution.
Provide hands on support forhigh impact initiatives and teams in strategicallyimportant areasto provision and configure agents.
Qualifications
47 years in technical operations/engineering or analytics roles with handson experience inintegrating diverse data sourcesfor telemetry reporting.
Strong grasp of access control data classification/sensitivity and basic privacy/security practices; able to implement them in Microsoft 365.
Ability to turn ambiguous reporting needs into robust datasets and visuals; comfortable with stakeholder demos and iterative delivery.
Exposure to M365/Copilot admin and telemetry sources; familiarity with tenant configuration considerations.
Scripting for automationdata wrangling and analysis.
Experience in enterprise environments with audit requirements.
