Your opportunity
As a Non-Executive Board Director youll join a passionate experienced and values-driven Board. Together youll help guide the strategic direction of Kids First Australia ensuring our purpose remains at the heart of everything we do.
In this role you will:
- Act in good faith and in the best interests of Kids First Australia supporting strong governance in line with our Constitution Board Charter ACNC Governance Standards and the Corporations Act
- Contribute to Board sub-committees helping drive accountability oversight and effective decision-making
- Provide strategic insight and leadership drawing on your professional experience
- Support ethical advocacy that advances our mission and impact
About you
Youre someone who cares deeply about making a difference and brings the experience to match. Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in public policy social services organisational psychology or a related field
- Completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) course
- Significant leadership experience in child youth and family services and/or early childhood education and care
- Previous Board experience with a solid understanding of governance in a not-for-profit environment
