Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Radiology
Location: Rochester NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule
- Mid/Night Shift: Monday Friday
- 5:00 PM 1:30 AM
- On-Call Requirement: 12 weekend call shifts per month
- Flexing required up to 3 times during the contract
Job Summary
The X-Ray Technologist Radiology is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to support patient care in a tertiary care hospital setting. This role requires proficiency in radiographic imaging the ability to work independently during evening/night shifts and adherence to high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Imaging & Patient Care
- Perform high-quality X-ray imaging procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition
- Provide care to patients across various age groups
Clinical Operations
- Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Follow radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Collaboration
- Coordinate with physicians nurses and clinical staff
- Communicate effectively regarding imaging results and patient needs
Documentation
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Active state license (must be in hand at start)
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Epic EMR system
