Der Senior Data Scientist ist verantwortlich für die Konzeption Implementierung und kontinuierliche Optimierung skalierbarer MLLösungen die Geschäftsanforderungen in messbaren Impact für die EMEAMärkte übersetzen. Die Position verbindet technische Umsetzung mit geschäftlicher Ausrichtung und stellt sicher dass Lösungen an sich verändernde kommerzielle Anforderungen angepasst werden können während gleichzeitig architektonische Konsistenz und Standardisierung gewährleistet bleiben.

Aufgabenbereiche

• Mitarbeit in Projekten des europäischen Data Science & Advanced Analytics Teams.
• Konzeption Design Entwicklung und Umsetzung komplexer innovativer KI-/MachineLearningLösungen sowie Durchführung und Implementierung von Konzeptstudien unter Einsatz fortgeschrittener statistischer Methoden.
• Entwicklung von DeepLearningModellen zur Extraktion strukturierter medizinischer Konzepte aus unstrukturierten Daten.
• Produktionsreife Implementierung von MachineLearningAlgorithmen auf BigDataPlattformen.
• Anwendung moderner DataMining und MachineLearningTechniken im Zusammenhang mit HealthcareBigData zur Identifikation komplexer Zusammenhänge und zur Verknüpfung heterogener Datenquellen.
• Fortgeschrittener Einsatz von Large Language Models für Zusammenfassungen Chatbots Entitätsextraktion usw.
• Entwicklung grundlegender DeepLearningModelle für Assets und Patienten.
• Aufbau und Training neuer produktionsreifer Algorithmen die aus komplexen hochdimensionalen Daten lernen und Muster erkennen aus denen MLModelle und Anwendungen entwickelt werden können.

Unser ideales Profil

• Masterabschluss in Informatik Mathematik/Statistik Wirtschaftswissenschaften/Ökonometrie oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet.
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in quantitativer Datenanalyse oder eine Promotion mit mindestens einem Jahr relevanter Berufserfahrung im Bereich MachineLearningForschung.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse und tiefes Verständnis von MachineLearningMethoden sowohl klassisch als auch Deep Learning.
• Relevante Erfahrung mit Natural Language Processing (NLP) zur Extraktion strukturierter Konzepte aus unstrukturiertem Freitext einschließlich Design Training und Evaluierung von InformationExtractionPipelines.
• Sehr starke technische Fähigkeiten in Python SQL und dem HadoopÖkosystem.
• Erfahrung in der Anwendung von KI-/MachineLearningMethoden auf geschäftliche Fragestellungen.
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse fortgeschrittener statistischer und ökonometrischer Methoden in Theorie und Praxis.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Big Data.
• Fähigkeit sauberen wiederverwendbaren produktionsreifen Code zu schreiben.
• Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten (schriftlich und mündlich) einschließlich technischer Projektaspekte Dokumentation Ergebnisinterpretation und geschäftlicher Empfehlungen.
• Ausgeprägtes analytisches Denken und logische Problemlösungskompetenz starke Qualitätsorientierung.

The Senior Data Scientist is responsible for designing deploying and continuously optimizing scalable ML solutions that translate business requirements into measurable impact across EMEA markets. The position combines technical execution with business alignment ensuring solutions remain adaptable to evolving commercial needs while maintaining architecture consistency and standardization.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Collaboration in projects of the European Data Science & Advanced Analytics Team.
• Concept design development and execution of complex innovative AI/Machine Learning solutions as well as execution and implementation of concept studies using advanced statistical methods.
• Development of deep learning models for structured medical concept extraction from unstructured data.
• Productionalization of machine learning algorithms in Big Data platforms.
• Application of modern data mining and machine learning techniques in connection with Healthcare Big Data to identify complex relationships and link heterogeneous data sources.
• Advanced usage of Large Language Models for summarization chatbot entity extraction etc.
• Develop foundational Deep Learning Models for assets and patients.
• Builds and trains new production grade algorithms that can learn from complex high dimensional data to uncover patterns from which machine learning models and applications can be developed.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Masters degree in Computer Science Mathematics/Statistics Economics/Econometrics or related field.
• Substantial years of professional experience in quantitative data analysis or PhD with at least 1 year of relevant professional experience with research in machine learning algorithms.
• Very good knowledge and in depth understanding of Machine Learning methods both classical and deep learning models.
• Relevant experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for extracting structured concepts from unstructured free text including the design training and evaluation of informationextraction pipelines.
• Very strong technical capability in Python SQL Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience applying AI/Machine Learning methods to business questions.
• Very good knowledge of the higher statistical and econometric methods in theory and practice.
• Experience with handling Big Data.
• Ability to write clean reusable production-level code
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) including technical aspects of a project ability to develop usable documentation results interpretation and business recommendations.
• Strong analytic mindset and logical thinking capability strong QC mindset.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical market and experience with pharmaceutical data (medical hospital pharmacy claims data) would be a plus but not a must.
• Self-responsible for managing projects.
• Fluency in German & English.
