Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and refine the design V&V process to ensure that it effectively meets the requirements of the product requirements specification.
- Dynamically manage master V&V plans for each design project and review test plans test methods and test reports.
- Develop innovative verification methods to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Develop ongoing reliability tests or life tests to improve product durability based on typical user use.
- Write automated test scripts such as stress testing communication protocol testing and improve regression testing efficiency.
- Use statistical skills to lead test data analytics and scientifically formulate test sample size principles.
- Be familiar with the factors that affect measurement uncertainty and write professional uncertainty reports.
- Ensure that the new product introduction (NPI) process follows applicable regulations and standards in particular the European Union Directives safety standards and EMC standards.
- Review product safety at the beginning of the project to prevent safety issues and unnecessary waste after tooling and ensure that product development is delivered on time.
- Familiar with domestic and international certification procedures (e.g. CE RED NRTL etc.) to ensure that products are successfully certified.
- Deeply understand the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and create comprehensive firmware test cases.
- Utilize the Jira system for defect tracking and management to drive project teams to deliver on time.
- Generate local procedure documentation and working instructions to follow ISO and EHS requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the New Product Introduction (NPI) design verification and validation (V & V) process or related testing process.
- Familiar with measurement product industry regulations safety standards and EMC standards.
- Possessing a solid foundation in statistics capable of conducting in-depth test data analytics.
- Proficient in writing automated test scripts.
- Familiar with measurement uncertainty analysis and calibration products.
- Familiar with CE RED NRTL and other international certification process; knowledge of IEC 61010/61326-1 standards is preferred.
