The Role

Our Water Infrastructure team is looking for a talentedSenior Civil Designerto design coordinate and take the lead on project delivery for various Water Infrastructure projects both locally and nationally.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary water team youll contribute to the delivery ofmajor capital projects and facility upgradesthat support both local and ANZ-wide initiatives. Our team works across the full water cycle delivering impactful projects such as:

• Major pipelines
• Large pumping stations
• Advanced water wastewater and recycling treatment plants

With a minimum of 7 years experience in a hands-on capacity you will play a key role in:

• Concept design and delivery of water infrastructure projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
• Build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally and contribute to effective client relationship management
• Proactively collaborating with team members contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Advanced Diploma
• 7 years industry experience working with an engineering design consultancy
• Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Water infrastructure project experience (desirable)
• Knowledge of relevant Australian design standards and local regulations
• Relevant working rights
