As a Security Officer Corporate Grounds Patrol in NEW YORK NY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will patrol assigned areas remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies access activity support and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances property concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including office areas vehicle holding areas entry points parking areas and perimeter locations noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor gates restricted areas and incoming and outgoing activity verifying authorized access following post instructions and reporting suspicious damaged or unsecured conditions.
• Support daily operations at a government location by providing directions assisting with orderly movement of people and vehicles maintaining detailed activity logs and following Allied Universal standards and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
