Overview

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Technology Practice. This is a mid-level position where you may serve as an account lead on smaller team and/or team lead on individual workstreams for larger accounts. Senior Account Executives work as the right-hand to the account manager and/or director leading ongoing account work while contributing to the overall strategic direction of an account.

In this positionyoullbe charged with guiding and supporting junior team members with project management reviewing day-to-day assignments and shepherding deliverablesthrough tocompletion. This position also requires proactive participation in client callspresentationsand ongoing client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Collaboratewith senior account leads in the development and implementation of account strategy and planning client growth integratedcampaignsand social media programs; delegateappropriate assignmentsto team members.
  • Actively pursue media to secure press results; network and build relationships with key mediacontacts andproactively develop new story angles for clients.
  • Oversee and provide direction and guidance for AEsAAEsand ACs alongside the account manager or director.
  • Maintain regular client contact via conversations and written communications and foster client relationships across accounts.
  • Begin developing skills outside traditional media relations includingbuildingand planning integrated campaigns social media strategy and execution influencer relations etc.
  • Support new business initiatives by developing first draft content andparticipatingin new business presentations.
  • Promote and upholdAllisonscore values andparticipatesin agency-wide training and professional development programs.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience working as an account executive senior account executive or equivalent in public relationsmarketingor a related Account Executives atAllisontypically have a minimum of3years of experience.
  • TechnologyIndustry background and/or intereststronglypreferred.
  • Ability to work independently anddemonstratesuccess in managing and adapting to multiple project deadlines start-to-finish producing near-final versions of internal and client deliverables.
  • Self-motivated eager to learn and enthusiastic about the work.
  • Strong media relations skills. Existing media relationshipspreferred.
  • Demonstrates strong interest in management.
  • Strong writer and editor.
  • Proficiencyin usinga mediamonitoring and data analyticstoollikeMuckrack Critical Mention Meltwater and Cision.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook WordPowerPointand Excel alongside Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience using media monitoring and data analytics tools likeMuckrack Critical MentionMeltwaterand Cision.

Compensation

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations we believe the target range of base compensation in all locations within the United States for this role is$63K-$85K. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set level of experience and location.
