$21.00 per crossing

- Willow Canyon Elementary - 9650 South 1700 East Sandy
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to assist children to and from school in the crosswalk areas while following Crossing Guard Expectations and State Laws.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years of age.
Proof of citizenship or current legal documentation to work in the United States.
High School Diploma or GED.
No illegal drug use in the last 2 years.
No disqualifying convictions or offense involving dishonesty unlawful sexual conduct physical violence the unlawful use sale or possession of a controlled substance or any offenses involving children.
Have a valid government issued ID.
Due to the nature of this position the successful applicant must pass a required Sheriffs Office pre-employment background check.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains a sense of responsibility for the safety of students.
- Communicates with others clearly.
- Attends training outside the normal crossing periods.
- Adheres to training instruction and policy.
- Accepts work responsibilities and exhibits a high degree of professionalism.
- Reports any issues with crossing guards or citizens to the chain of command.
