We are looking for a Lead Operatoron our Graveyard shift (Monday - Thursday 9pm-7:30am) to oversee production operations ensure quality standards run machines as necessary and assist with training machine operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee machine operations and ensure materials tools and instructions are available.
- Conduct quality checks troubleshoot issues and maintain a clean safe workspace.
- Perform duties of Machine Operator as needed.
- Train new and existing machine operators.
- Document production performance and report any concerns.
- Coordinate break schedules and provide shift updates.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing production lead role preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 6 months of plastics manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to operate machines and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with TMM software and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
Physical & Work Environment
- Frequent walking standing and handling materials.
- Ability to lift/move 10-25 pounds regularly.
- Exposure to loud noise machinery and occasional fumes.
