About the Role

As Teacher of Philosophy & Ethics you will teach across KS3KS5 (depending on curriculum offer) delivering well-structured lessons that develop pupils critical thinking ethical reasoning and academic writing.

Your teaching will support pupils to:

  • Build secure knowledge of key philosophical ideas religious and non-religious worldviews

  • Develop confident ethical reasoning evaluating arguments with clarity and precision

  • Strengthen oracy through purposeful discussion debate and structured questioning

  • Write well-supported high-level extended responses using evidence and clear argument

  • Prepare effectively for GCSE and A-Level through modelling deliberate practice and precise feedback

Pupils explore questions about morality meaning justice human rights and belief learning how to evaluate competing viewpoints respectfully and intelligently.
