Job Summary

About the Role

As ECT French Teacher you will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering engaging lessons that build pupils confidence in communication and develop strong foundations for GCSE success. You will be supported to teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

  • Confident speaking and listening through structured practice and purposeful conversation

  • Secure vocabulary and grammatical accuracy over time

  • Strong reading and translation skills using increasingly challenging texts

  • Accurate and expressive writing through modelling scaffolding and feedback

  • Exam confidence through deliberate practice clear routines and strong retrieval

Pupils explore themes linked to everyday life and wider global issues while developing cultural understanding and strong language habits.
