Purpose

Lead direct and control all Fire Safety operation activities in The Netherlands (project and service delivery) to achieve its short- and long-term financial and operating objectives as set by the business plan.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the project and service delivery function of the Fire Safety business line

  • Accountable for delivering forecast and revenue

  • Ensuring accurate reporting

  • Accountable for people leadership within the department

  • Establish an overall vision and strategy and approve policies and procedures for the Fire Safety operations that contribute to the overall corporate business plan.

  • Set and monitor the performance of the Fire Safety operations against standards and targets in areas such as administration efficiency cost control revenue legal compliance and human resource management.

  • Lead guide evaluate and develop a team to ensure that operations achieve their business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.

This position reports to Head of Fire Safety

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Technical literacy in relevant areas

  • Financial literacy with respect to project costs margin and financial optimization of projects and services

  • Experience in resource optimization internal v 3rd party

  • Experience in Fire Safety systems sector is advantageous

  • Experience in project and service delivery processes

  • Strong understanding of processes tools and methods within the profession

  • Ability to establish maintain and develop successful and stable customer relationships

  • Ability to create monitor and improve KPIs leading to improved CSAT

  • Ability to pro-actively analyze and address topics in a self-motivated manner

Required Experience and Education

  • University degree in Business Economics & Management or Operational Technology or related field

  • Minimum of five years experience in projects and service delivery

  • Experience from working in a customer delivery project environment

Personal Characteristics

  • Excellent leadership skills in a multi-disciplined service environment
    Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent ability to drive change and a continuous improvement in culture
