Senior Manager Publishing Editorial Primary Law
Position Overview
Senior Manager Publishing Editorial provides leadership functional expertise and operational oversight to support Thomson Reuters AEM Primary Law content across all media. As part of the AEM Editorial Primary Law leadership team this role leads the Manila Global Centre function supports AI-enabled product and workflow initiatives manages key vendor and stakeholder relationships and helps drive team capability accountability and business performance.
In this opportunity asSenior Manager Publishing Editorial you will:
Lead the AEM Primary Law team in the Manila Global Centre providing day-to-day leadership to support content product people and business goals.
Plan and manage work activities schedules and workflows across Westlaw Checkpoint TimeBase Legislation and Print products ensuring content is current accurate and delivered in line with targets and customer requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Editorial Management Editorial Strategy Product Marketing Product Management Print Segment and Technology Content Engineering to support content strategy and product development.
Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders vendors official agencies and other content partners across regions and time zones.
Drive continuous improvement through process optimization workflow management standardization and AI-enabled ways of working.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new content emerging technologies business requirements and AI-supported editorial workflows.
Manage budget responsibilities for the content set including cost management savings initiatives and resource optimization.
Lead coach develop and support team members through hiring training performance management development planning and employee engagement.
Oversee team performance work allocation and issue resolution ensuring timely escalation and response to content delivery customer and people-related matters.
Support achievement of delivery acquisition growth SLA print schedule budget and organizational alignment goals across AEM Primary Law.
About You
Youre a fit for the role ofSenior Manager Publishing Editorial if your background includes:
Strong people leadership experience ideally across diverse geographies and teams.
Strong emotional intelligence sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
810 years of experience managing legal editorial teams or similar teams focused on content management and development.
Demonstrated experience managing customer vendor and stakeholder relationships.
Proven ability to operationalize plans and deliver against content priorities and deadlines.
Strong analytical planning and budget management skills.
Experience working with global service vendors or BPO partners to support resource and cost optimization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to set priorities manage change and lead teams through evolving business needs.
A legal qualification such as a Juris Doctor is preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
