About the Company:

Join a leading Irish main contractor who specialise in both construction & civil engineering over the past 60 years. This company has an excellent reputation with being responsible for the development of highly regarded projects in the residential commercial and the educational sectors. Working with this company will allow you to be exposed to high profile developments as well as working along side some of the most experienced and skilled workers in their field.

Your responsibilities will include:

Giving advice on contract matters
Processing contractual claims and all associated records
Searching for opportunities to reduce costs and maximise revenue
Assisting with cash management
Negotiating subcontract and suppliers price and terms
Ensuring final accounts are closed in a timely matter
Preparing and reviewing monthly cost reports
Preparing subcontract and suppliers documents

What you will need:

Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
The ability to work on a large-scale project
Excellent written verbal & communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to use time efficiently and to maximise efficiency with staff
