Job Description:
Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

Youll work closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to design implement and improve security across the organization with visibility into both technical execution and strategic decision-making.
What Youll Be Doing
Security Engineering & Operations
- Lead and manage key security tools including SIEM EDR firewalls vulnerability management and IAM
- Design and secure infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud environments (Azure/M365)
- Own vulnerability management and help drive remediation across teams
- Build automation and improve processes to make security operations more efficient
- Monitor investigate and respond to security events and incidents
Strategy & Impact
- Play a key role in shaping and executing the organizations cybersecurity strategy
- Partner with leadership to ensure security aligns with business priorities
- Help improve and scale security processes as the organization grows
Governance Risk & Compliance
- Support audits assessments and compliance efforts (ISO SOC GDPR PCI etc.)
- Manage vendor and third-party risk
- Track and report on meaningful security metrics
Collaboration & Visibility
- Work cross-functionally with IT engineering and business teams
- Provide guidance on secure architecture and system design
- Contribute to security awareness and training initiatives
What Theyre Looking For
- 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security
- Strong hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM EDR IAM firewalls etc.)
- Experience securing cloud environments ideally Azure and Microsoft 365
- Solid understanding of networking Windows/Linux environments and security architecture
- Familiarity with frameworks like ISO 27001 SOC 2 GDPR PCI or NIST
- Experience with scripting or automation (PowerShell Python) is a plus
- Ability to balance hands-on work with strategic thinking
