Job Summary

The Hotel Hershey is situated high atop the town of Hershey and has 326 guest rooms including 19 Villas with 98 luxury sleeping rooms as well as 25000 square feet of meeting and function space. The 1930s hotel is a Historic Hotel of America and a AAA Four-Diamond Award winner.
This position is responsible for assisting the bartender at an assigned F&B outlet within the Hotel Hershey.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):
Duties include carrying supplies and equipment such as wine spirits fruits ice glassware tables chairs etc. helping to set up service bars and portable bars for parties
Cleaning away debris and maintaining good order in the bar areas
Assist with the plating assembly and service of prepared food items while adhering to all health department guidelines and property standards.
Cleaning all beverage areas
Delivering wines spirits and beer and obtaining required receipts for same
Keeping all bars stocked.
Back up bartender for poolside bar.
Prepare bar prep recipes as assigned by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Post-employment - RAMP Certification
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Previous bar experience helpful.
Must be well groomed and cordial with guests.
Job Demands:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule days and evenings including weekends and holidays.
This position is primarily 2nd shift however the work schedule may vary based on operational needs.
Must be able to lift 70 lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time.
This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
