Urgent Care Veterinarian
A veterinary clinic is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its collaborative medical team. This role focuses on providing care for non-life-threatening conditions that require prompt attention offering an alternative to emergency clinics while supporting overall patient opportunity is ideal for veterinarians who enjoy a fast-paced environment managing a variety of cases and delivering efficient high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate diagnose and treat urgent care cases in companion animals
- Manage common conditions such as minor injuries infections gastrointestinal issues and other non-emergency concerns
- Perform necessary procedures and provide appropriate treatment plans
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding diagnoses care plans and follow-up recommendations
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent)
Active veterinary license (or eligibility) in North Carolina
Compassionate team-oriented approach to patient care
Strong diagnostic surgical and interpersonal skills
