What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a financial institution environment.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location including lobbies offices restricted areas and perimeter points helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Monitor entrances exits and sensitive areas verify access permissions and report unusual conditions maintenance concerns and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Support cash handling asset movement and other high-value operational activities as assigned maintaining a visible armed presence and following post orders and applicable regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
- Retired Law enforcement or retired Corrections officer.
- An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
