Job Title: Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU RN)
Location:Lawrenceville Georgia (Onsite)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Varies)
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for neonates in a high-acuity intensive care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing critically ill newborns and be comfortable working with advanced life-support technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU
- Monitor and assess critically ill newborns including premature infants (22 weeks gestation)
- Administer medications IV therapies and specialized treatments
- Operate and manage advanced neonatal equipment including ventilators and monitoring systems
- Assist with neonatal resuscitation and emergency interventions
- Maintain central lines and administer continuous IV drips (vasopressors sedation etc.)
- Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate and support families regarding neonatal care and treatment plans
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation

- High-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Provides advanced therapies including:
- Total body cooling
- Conventional and High-Frequency Oscillator Ventilation
- Inhaled nitric oxide therapy
- Continuous IV infusions (vasopressors sedation)
- Central line management
- Neonatal resuscitation
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Required
