About this position

The Interventional Pulmonologist is responsible for providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for pulmonary diseases within a two-hospital system. This role includes performing interventional pulmonary procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings managing a dedicated interventional pulmonology clinic and serving as a referral resource for complex pulmonary cases. The physician will be expected to collaborate with hospital leadership to develop clinical protocols support service line growth and participate in quality improvement initiatives. This is a pure interventional pulmonology position with no expectation to cover ICU or to build a general pulmonology practice at the same time.

Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited medical school or osteopathic school required
Fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology
Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Minnesota

Ability to work independently while developing a new high-impact service line
Excellent clinical skills and competence in area of specialty
Strong track record of collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Licensure/Certification

Current State of MN Medical Doctor or Osteopathy license
Valid DEA Registration
Current medical staff credentials in specialty
