Data Warehouse Modeling & DBT Expert (Lead)

Job Summary

The role focuses on building scalable high-performance data warehouse solutions using modern data stack tools. You will work closely with business stakeholders data engineers and analysts to transform raw data into meaningful insights through efficient data modeling and transformation pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data warehouse models (Star & Snowflake schemas)
Develop and maintain fact and dimension tables aligned with business needs
Build manage and optimize data transformation pipelines using dbt
Translate business requirements into reusable and well-structured data models
Implement data validation testing and documentation using dbt best practices
Optimize SQL queries for performance and large-scale data processing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine data requirements
Ensure data quality consistency and governance standards
Integrate dbt workflows with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
Drive best practices in modern data architecture and transformation frameworks

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in Data Warehouse Design & Dimensional Modeling
Hands-on expertise with dbt (data build tool)
Advanced proficiency in SQL (complex queries optimization performance tuning)
Experience with cloud data warehouses such as:
- Snowflake
- BigQuery
- Amazon Redshift
- Azure Synapse
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data stack
Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
