We are seeking a highly skilled AEM UI Developer to join our digital experience team in Cary NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 modern UI technologies and accessibility standards. You will work closely with UX design and development teams to deliver scalable high-performance and accessible digital experiences aligned with refreshed brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enhance and maintain AEM UI components aligned with refreshed brand and design standards.
- Ensure all UI components meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers product owners and developers to deliver pixelperfect responsive user interfaces.
- Optimize AEM components for performance scalability and reusability.
- Work with Experience Fragments and Content Fragments to support omnichannel delivery.
- Support integration deployment and environment promotion across AEM environments.
- Maintain high code quality documentation and best practices within AEM architecture.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.5 architecture and component development.
- Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and modern UI development practices.
- Experience building responsive and accessible UI components.
- Solid knowledge of Experience Fragments and Content Fragments.
- Familiarity with AEM templates workflows Sling Models and OSGi services.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Experience working in digital UX-focused projects.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to performance optimization and frontend best practices within AEM.
- Understanding of enterprise-scale AEM deployments.
