Head of MFL Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the MFL department as an outstanding Head of MFL
- As Head of MFL ensure high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages
- Develop and implement a strong curriculum strategy as Head of MFL
- Use data effectively in your role as Head of MFL to raise attainment and progress
- Support coach and develop teaching staff within the department as Head of MFL
- Contribute to whole-school leadership initiatives in your capacity as Head of MFL
Head of MFL The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at secondary level (KS3KS5 desirable)
- Proven track record as a successful Head of MFL or aspiring Head of MFL
- Strong leadership and organisational skills required for a Head of MFL role
- Passion for delivering excellence in language education as a Head of MFL
- Ability to motivate and inspire students and staff as an effective Head of MFL
