Follett Content Solutions helps build a diverse collection of print and digital resources to support every student. We are currently hiring for an Order Filler Quality Assurance (OFQA) role. This position is a full-time non-exempt role in our warehouse located in McHenry IL. The pay for this position is $17.00 per hour. Any pay range disclosed is based upon a combination of neutral factors such as required qualifications experience education skill training certifications seniority etc. Follett Content Solutions reserves the right to provide any successful candidate a salary at the most appropriate level set as a result of such candidate qualifications experience education skill training certifications or seniority.
Responsibilities:
- Counts or scans each title in tote to verify that the order is complete and not missing any requested titles. Requests or drops from the order any missing titles depending on inventory availability via scanner.
- Inspect each book for dirt damage or defects. Pulls books that do not meet established quality standards and request replacements through scanner. Adds replacement books to tote when delivered.
- Assigns order content to tote barcode for internal tracking and routing of materials using the scanner.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for the full 8-hour shift (or longer if overtime)
- Basic Computer Skills
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
