The team
At Axis our teams work cross-functionallyinprojects to develop and deliver world class products!Your team is a new cross-functional team working on a new product. The team brings together firmware engineers with application developersbuildinghigh-level functionality in collaboration with frontend developers and UX designers. The team consists of both junior and senior engineers working together in an open climate. We believe diverse perspectives are key to innovation. And one thing for sure; teamwork collaboration and openness to each others ideas are essential to everyone at Axis.
Many of our teams have Innovation days and Free Fridays where you can freely experiment your ideas. We trust our teams to decide on the best ways of working the tools to use and which ideas to explore a level of freedom that truly empowers our developers.
The role
You playan important rolein the product development by writing well designed efficient scalablereadableand testable code inC. You take an early part in feature investigations and pre-studies including collaborating on prototype code and evaluating using real world testing. Together with your team you will be involved in setting the coding standards and ways of working for your team.In our projects we collaborate with different competence areas such as mechanics electronics industrialdesignand production technologies to name a few.

Wedlove to hear that you have:
A masters degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience
Solid work experience fromembedded C/Cprogramming in a Linux environment
Knowledge of other programming languages such as CCor Rust
Experienceworking with these technologies is a plus:Wifi Bluetooth GPSbatteryand power saving algorithms
Perhaps worked with either of the followingtools:Git Gerrit JiraPythonDockerDocker ComposeYoctoorOpenEmbedded
