We are currently looking to fill a Research Operations Manager position. This role provides TGen Scientists (Investigators) with assistance advocacy and facilitation in the administrative and functional requirements of planning initiating executing and completing scientific projects. These activities free the researchers from administrative burden allowing them to pursue and focus on discovery.

  • Serves as the primary operational liaison for Investigators coordinating cross-functional activities with institutional support teams ie. Legal Compliance IT Finance HR and Facilities. Recommend and advise in operational and administrative dynamics.
  • Determine personnel allocation / tracking % effort (whos working on what projects amount of time timelines and deliverables funding sources) on various projects to assist in defined budgeting. Develop financial time budgeting for projects.
  • Manage and track deliverables timelines and milestones for contractual work to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Serve as point of contact between investigators legal and external collaborators to resolve bottlenecks in contract execution.
  • Arrange organize and participate in meetings with collaborators vendors and other external partners providing support in collaboration with assigned Investigators.
  • Work in collaboration with internal partners to develop financial modeling yearly budgets for the division and new budgets for proposals (contractual/philanthropic).
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years project/program management
  • Experience in healthcare or science strongly preferred
  • Experience managing the lifecycle of legal agreements (CDAs MTAs etc.) from intake to execution preferred
