Job Summary
Program Assistant Adult DayWould you like to work in a rewarding environment with fantastic co-workers This position is for you! You can make a difference by providing care to the individuals we serve in our community-based Day assistance in the daily care of health impaired older adults or individuals in our care with brain injuries intellectual/ developmental disabilities emotional or behavioral disability or mental with the development and implementation of individual and group activity programs and responsible for the care safety security and social/recreation activities for the individuals receiving individuals receiving care with daily living including personal hygiene bathing bathroom assistance grooming preparing meals and medication guidance with social skills advocacy and self-esteem and teach strategies to live as independently as to medical appointments errands shopping or activities in the :High school diploma or its equivalent and must be 18 years of ageMinimum one year experience in providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferably with older adultsPhysical in the past 12 months and annual TB testValid drivers license access to reliable vehicle with current registration and insuranceProficient in vital signs weights Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and independent ADLsCompetence in CPR and First AidStrong attention to detail and effective communication skills to manage relationshipsA reliable responsible attitude and a compassionate approachWhy Join UsFull Part-time and As Needed schedules compensation/benefits package for full-time employees.401(k) with company time off and holiday work impacting the lives of those you serve working alongside a great team of job security with nationwide career development and advancement have meaningful work that enhances lives - Come join our team Apply Today!
