Job Description
This position works M-F with a flexible 1st shift schedule/hours.
Job Summary:
Operate equipment used to manufacture detection products. Weigh measure and check raw materials to ensure that batches manufactured contain proper ingredients in proper quantities. Maintain inventory records of raw materials used in batch manufacturing. Keep accurate and up-to-date batch records and data sheets on batches in process. Perform in-process tests (such as hardness weight variation pH and moisture content) to ensure that batches meet specifications. Recognize equipment and product problems notify supervisor and/or troubleshoot errors in order to achieve optimum production levels. Must be able to follow written Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions in order to fabricate inspect and package chemical-based organizational skills and relevant computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office) are required for maintaining production records. The ability to safely handle lab equipment/tools and chemicals is required.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Manual assembly and packaging of products.
Organize materials and work areas.
Suggest items for continuous improvement initiatives.
Record keeping and data sheet maintenance.
Fabrication inspecting and packaging of chemical based products.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED required.
Experience in an assembly or production environment a plus.
Self-motivated dependable and excellent communication skills.
Good manual dexterity meticulous attention to detail and an interest/ability to quickly learn new work operations.
Prior lab equipment experience or background in chemistry/biology a plus.
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen U.S. national legal permanent resident asylee refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
