Job Title: Backend Engineer

Job Description:
Join as the second backend engineer to build production-grade infrastructure for real-time voice interpretation. Working directly with the technical founder you will own the core API platform that enables instant tonally-accurate translation across multiple languages. You will architect scalable systems for high concurrency ensuring natural fluid conversations for global users.

What you will do:

Design and build a unified AI API platform to package internal capabilities into a scalable production-ready system.
Architect and manage high-concurrency infrastructure including real-time voice rooms auto-scaling and load balancing on Azure.
Implement critical business logic systems including usage metering billing pipelines and comprehensive monitoring/analytics dashboards.

The ideal candidate:

4-8 years of backend experience with a proven track record of building and scaling production systems from the ground up.
Expert-level Python skills with deep knowledge of distributed systems cloud infrastructure and database optimization.
Experience with real-time systems or voice technologies paired with a strong ownership mindset to thrive in a small fast-paced team.
