Market Data Program Specialist (Singapore London)

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy revenue growth and market data technology responsible for building scalable market data structures that support real-time and historical data distribution while maximizing commercial value.

The successful candidate will shape how market data is packaged priced delivered and consumed by global clients while working closely with technology teams to design and evolve the underlying market data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategicdevelopment Licensing Framework& Program Governance

• Collaborate with management toshape the market data strategy in alignment with broader organisational objectives

• Leadthe development refinement and maintenance of a complexmarketdata licensing program covering multiple license types usage scenarios and delivery formats.

• CollaboratewithLegalto formalise and update program terms & conditions ensuring clarity compliance and enforceability.

• Collaborate with Commercial torefine commercial structure of the programand development of the commercial business plan for the program

• Assistindrafting and revising program agreements data use policies FAQs and guidance documents for prospective and active licensees.

Licensee Management & Operational Support

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for licensees throughout the application evaluation and approval processes.

• Manage and update required submission forms including statements of intended data use delivery method preferences and compliance attestations.

• Collaborateclosely with Legal to negotiate terms usage rights data restrictionswhere applicable

• Coordinate workflows across LegalTechnology and Productteams to ensuretimelyandaccurateevaluation of licensingapplicationsand delivery ofconnectivity

Onboarding & Data Delivery

• Lead end-to-end onboarding for new licensees including introduction to program requirements delivery processes and compliance expectations.

• Partner withTechnology (and Data Engineering)teams tofacilitatesecure andaccuratedelivery of licenseddatasets andparticipatein planning for software/infrastructuredevelopment in relation to data delivery.

• Develop onboarding checklists communication templates and documentation to improve operational consistency.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Identifygaps and inefficiencies in licensing workflowsproposingand implementing improvements to streamline processing time and accuracy.

• Maintain internal documentation on licensing rules data products delivery pathways and escalation procedures.

• Produce regularreports on licensing volume operational metrics and compliance activities to support leadership decision-making.

Partnershipsand Market Engagement

• Work directly with trading firms banks commodity producers data vendors andfintechsto understand data consumption needs.

• Identifyand formnew partnershipsaligned withAbaxxdata strategy.

• Support sales and relationship teams with market data product positioning and client onboarding

• Act as a subject matter expert for clients on market data structure delivery and licensing

• Built andmaintainedstrong long-term relationships with partners ensuring clarity of expectations obligations and value delivery.

• Developpartner materials (program overviews capability summaries use-case frameworks) to support outreach and engagement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Finance Economics or related field

• 5-10 years of experience in market data strategy product management or data infrastructure within:

• Derivatives or securities exchanges

• Market data vendors or financial data providers

• Trading venues clearing houses or fintech platforms

• Strong understanding of commodities derivatives markets and exchange data flows

Technical Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with market data architectures and protocols (e.g. multicast TCP/IP low-latency feeds)

• Familiarity with market data standards symbology and schemas

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms APIs and data distribution frameworks

• Ability to translate commercial requirements into technical data models and delivery solutions
