Systems Engineer

Cepeda Systems and Software Analysis a rapidly growing small company in Huntsville AL is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Software Systems Engineerto join our team.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing and implementing solutions for software systems configuration network implementation and software system deployment methodologies.
• Developing and testing the configuration of a system of systems; and documenting the steps necessary to reproduce that process consistently in support of various platforms
• Will perform requirements analysis of the multiple platforms and identification of applicable requirements gaps or improvements for simulation software systems.
• Create automated scripts
• Create and maintain process/procedures across multiple systems.
• Create processes that follow standard system engineering processes.
• Support Azure DevOps and Agile project management and source control/software testing environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• BS degree and three (3) years or more of experience: six (6) years of related experience considered in lieu of degree.

Desired SKILLS:

• Experience with integration of Mission IT Systems (ServersNetwork Equipment Switches Firewalls Virtualized Software etc.).
• Functional experience using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit to deploy servers and/or client systems.
• Working understanding of the configuring and troubleshooting of network equipment.
• Experience writing automated scripts.
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding and experience with VMware ESXi & KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) server technologies.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Must have an active SECRET securityclearance
• Must be a US Citizen
