The Head of Internal Communications leads the development and execution of foodora foodpanda and Yemeksepetis internal communications strategy across 15 markets and functions. Reporting to the CHRO this role partners with senior leadership to shape clear consistent and engaging narratives that align employees behind business strategy drive engagement and enable organizational change at scale.
At the core of this role is the mission to bring strategy clarity organizational trust and a strong sense of belonging through clear valuable and engaging internal communications that empower employees to thrive. The role requires both strategic thinking and strong operational execution in a fast-moving matrixed multi-market environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and evolve execution of the regional internal communications strategy aligning messaging with business priorities transformation initiatives and long-term strategic direction.
Craft compelling clear narratives that translate complex strategy performance updates and operational developments into messages that resonate across diverse employee audiences.
Lead communication planning and execution for transformation initiatives and organizational change in alignment with leaders ensuring clarity empathy and disciplined cascade execution.
Design and elevate employee engagement formats including town halls leadership forums and interactive initiatives that strengthen transparency trust and alignment.
Define and guide best practices while optimizing the internal communications ecosystem including channels cadence and quality standards across markets.
Act as a strategic partner to the CLevel People & Culture and further functional teams ensuring cohesive and consistent messaging across regions and functions.
Driving AI adoption across markets and teams leveraging it as a powerful tool to bring innovation.
Establish clear success metrics for internal communications (engagement & attendance for Townhalls channel success rate engagement survey scores) leveraging data engagement insights and feedback loops to continuously improve impact and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- 7-10 years of experience in Internal Communications Corporate Communications or related fields with a strong track record in regional or multi-market environments.
- Proven experience in partnering with senior executives and C-suite leaders with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated execution excellence in communications during complex organizational change and transformation.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills in English with the ability to simplify complex business topics without losing nuance.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational and strategic drivers in fast-paced matrixed organizations.
- High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity particularly within diverse cultural environments.
- Strong project management and prioritization capabilities able to manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
- Bachelors degree in Communications Business Journalism or related field (Masters degree is a plus).
