Hi Im Natalie Dusome Founder and CEO of Poppy & Peonies a fun and energetic brand that believes styles and function should co-exist. Were passionate about creating practical pieces that help make life a little easier and lighten the load literally.
Building Poppy & Peonies has been a wild adventure. The journey began when my daughter Poppy was born and my accessories no longer worked with my new life as a mom I needed bags with pockets and organization that looked cool and had functionality. I couldnt find it so I decided to create it and in 2015 Poppy & Peonies was born.
Weve come a long way in five years from filling orders in my basement to appearing on Dragons Den and now expanding into new product categories and collaborating with some exciting influencers and brands. Id be lying if I said its been nothing but smooth sailing but thanks to our incredible community weve never felt more loved and supported!
We believe in our responsibility to care for our environment and we are passionate about preserving the health and welfare of our planet and the animals that live on it. All of our bags are made from high-quality vegan leather and our entire product line is vegan cruelty-free and PETA-approved. We ship our products plastic-free and we use a combination of recycled compostable and biodegradable materials to mitigate shipping waste and we are constantly looking for new ways to make our products and supply chain more sustainable to reduce our carbon footprint.
About the Role
As our Graphic Designer you are the visual storyteller for Poppy & Peonies.
Youll be responsible for designing and producing compelling visual content that brings our brand to life online and on our website. From creating stunning product imagery and lifestyle graphics to dynamic motion designs for social media youll play a pivotal role in shaping how our customers see and experience our brand.

The Opportunity
- Creating and managing graphics for the website and e-commerce channels ensuring a cohesive and visually engaging customer experience.
- Designing email blasts and social media content including Instagram and TikTok posts stories and other dynamic formats using both static images and motion graphics.
- Developing engaging designs using product photos flat-lays and lifestyle shots that align with the Poppy & Peonies aesthetic.
- Collaborating with the marketing and social media teams to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns.
- Collaboration with design team to create custom prints and packaging
- Staying updated on graphic design trends tools and best practices to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
- Managing multiple projects and deliverables meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
- Croping editing and resizing launch photography as needed.
What You Bring to the Role
- You have proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing static and motion graphics particularly for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands.
- You are an expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator After Effects Premiere Pro etc.) or similar tools.
- You have a strong understanding of social media platforms including Instagram and TikTok and their visual content requirements.
- You are skilled at translating brand identity into cohesive and creative visual designs.
- You have photography and videography experience (a plus but not required).
- You are detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- You are creative innovative and excited to push the boundaries of design in the fashion space.
- Youre a collaborative team player who can brainstorm with others.
- Youre flexible and can adapt to changing priorities on the go.

Location
Were a fully remote team spread across North America which means you can work from wherever you do your best thinking problem-solving and customer-obsessing. While this role is fully remote there may be opportunities for domestic or international travel for team get-togethers special events and the occasional chance to connect in person.
