Job Title: CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray) Orthopedic Imaging

Location: New York NY

Duration: 8 Weeks

Schedule

  • Night Shift: Monday Friday
  • 12:00 AM 8:30 AM (30-minute break)
  • Training: Initial training on day shift for approximately 2 weeks then transition to night shift

Job Summary

The CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray) Orthopedic Imaging is responsible for performing CT scans and X-ray procedures in a specialized orthopedic setting. This role requires independent work during overnight hours in a low-volume steady-paced environment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Key Responsibilities

Imaging & Patient Care

  • Perform CT and X-ray procedures across a variety of anatomical areas
  • Ensure accurate imaging and patient positioning
  • Provide care to patients across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)

CT Procedures

  • Abdomen pelvis chest head/neck spine and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Brain perfusion CT angiography (CTA) and multiplanar reconstruction

X-Ray Procedures

  • Extremities (upper and lower) spine pelvis
  • Chest/thorax and musculoskeletal imaging
  • Portable imaging as required

Operations

  • Work independently during low-volume overnight shifts
  • Rotate between inpatient outpatient ER and ICU settings as needed
  • Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
  • Active New York State license
  • IV Certification (mandatory)
  • BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
  • Experience with Epic EMR
