Job Title: CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray) Orthopedic Imaging

Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule
- Night Shift: Monday Friday
- 12:00 AM 8:30 AM (30-minute break)
- Training: Initial training on day shift for approximately 2 weeks then transition to night shift
Job Summary
The CT Technologist (CT/X-Ray) Orthopedic Imaging is responsible for performing CT scans and X-ray procedures in a specialized orthopedic setting. This role requires independent work during overnight hours in a low-volume steady-paced environment while maintaining high-quality imaging standards.
Key Responsibilities
Imaging & Patient Care
- Perform CT and X-ray procedures across a variety of anatomical areas
- Ensure accurate imaging and patient positioning
- Provide care to patients across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric)
CT Procedures
- Abdomen pelvis chest head/neck spine and musculoskeletal imaging
- Brain perfusion CT angiography (CTA) and multiplanar reconstruction
X-Ray Procedures
- Extremities (upper and lower) spine pelvis
- Chest/thorax and musculoskeletal imaging
- Portable imaging as required
Operations
- Work independently during low-volume overnight shifts
- Rotate between inpatient outpatient ER and ICU settings as needed
- Maintain imaging equipment and adhere to safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- Active New York State license
- IV Certification (mandatory)
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens imaging equipment
- Experience with Epic EMR
