THIS A PART-TIME GRANT-FUNDED POSITION UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30 2028 (20 HOURS PER WEEK)

Under the direction of the Director of Research (Program Director TN-HHN project) the Program Manager manages the day-to-day leadership and performance of the Tennessee Heart Health Network (TN-HHN) Cardiovascular Innovation Grant. This position is responsible for the overall program execution ensuring that deliverables are completed on time activities remain aligned with grant objectives and the program operates within approved budget partnership with the Program Director the Program Manager prepares and submits required progress reports to the sponsoring agency the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).



Responsibilities
  1. Manages the overall execution of the TN-HHN program ensuring alignment with grant goals timelines and performance expectations.
  2. Develops and maintains the program work plan implementation strategy and milestone tracking in collaboration with the Program Director.
  3. Provides management oversight of Learning Collaboratives practice transformation activities and community engagement strategies.
  4. Monitors expenditures forecasts spending and identifies variances or risks to budget adherence.
  5. Oversees preparation of required grant reports including narrative and financial components in coordination with relevant staff.
  6. Provides leadership oversight for engagement with health systems primary care practices community-based organizations and patient advisory structures
  7. Provides oversight of evaluation activities to ensure implementation aligns with evaluation design and reporting requirements.
  8. Reviews program performance data outcome metrics and progress indicators to inform program improvement.
  9. Leads special initiatives pilots or expansions aligned with TN-HHN strategic priorities as directed by the Program Director.
  10. Serves as the primary escalation point for operational partner or performance issues that require management-level resolution.
  11. Provides regular program status updates to the Program Director Principal Investigator and senior leadership.
  12. Performs other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications

EDUCATION:Masters Degree in Public Health or a related field. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)

EXPERIENCE:Two (2) years ofrelevant experience to include project management research management supervision budgeting and reporting; ORBachelors Degree and four (4) years ofrelevant experience to include project management research management supervision budgeting and reporting

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of IRB procedures and processes.
  • Knowledge of ethical conduct of research.
  • Understanding and knowledge of quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques.
  • Ability to use project management software Microsoft Office suite programs particularly Word Excel and Access.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time and establish priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and with a study team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide excellent attention to detail.
  • Skilled at project management software like Smartsheet MS Project etc.

WORK SCHEDULE : This position may occasionally be required to work weekends and evenings. May require occasional overnight travel.
