Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Development and expansion of the Data Warehouse as a central component of the CDO Architecture including: Analysis implementation and documentation of business requirements in the EDWH environment
- Design and implementation of high-performance data models and structures
- Responsibility for entire work packages in projects within an interdisciplinary team with clients and Data Analysts
- Code review and technical support for other colleagues in the CDO
- Measures to improve data quality
- Ensuring 3rd-level support within production operations
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-haves:
- 5 years of hands-on experience
- In-depth knowledge of Data Modeling especially Data Vault 2.0
- Advanced knowledge of database query languages PL/SQL and database management systems Oracle
- Strong understanding of BI/DWH architecture and relevant tools Wherescape/Wherescape3D
- Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage
Additionally at least one of the following:
- Advanced knowledge of Python Spark SQL or Scala
- Experience with modern cloud-based data architectures
